Safeguarding Policy
We committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children under 6 years old. As a pop-up role-play business, we provide facilities, activities, and equipment for children, parents are advised to supervise their children at all times. We recognize the importance of safeguarding children from harm, and we are committed to promoting their welfare and protecting them from abuse.
Responsibilities
The management of Little Kid Town is responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented, reviewed, and updated regularly. All employees, contractors, and volunteers who work with children are responsible for adhering to this policy, reporting any concerns or suspicions about child abuse, and taking appropriate action to safeguard children.
Child Protection
All employees/volunteers who work with children at Little Kid Town must complete a background check before they start work. This check will verify that they have no criminal convictions.
If an employee or volunteer becomes aware of any form of abuse or neglect, they must immediately report it to the management of Little Kid Town. We will take appropriate action to protect the child, including reporting the concern to the relevant authorities.
Facilities and Equipment
We will ensure that all facilities and equipment provided for children are safe and suitable for their use. We will regularly review and maintain our equipment to ensure it is in good condition and safe for children to use.
Supervision
Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times when they are at Little Kid Town. However, employees & volunteers will be available to offer assistance and support where necessary.
