Terms of service


Our staff are NOT responsible for any child, at any time.

Please ensure you select the correct ticket types for every person attending, even if the ticket has no charge. It is important we know the total number of attendees.


  1. All children must be supervised by an accompanying responsible adult (18+) at all times and not left unattended.

  2. Children remain the responsibility of the parent/carer and must be supervised at all times. 

  3. All attendees must behave in a safe and respectful manner towards other attendees, staff, & equipment. Any behaviour that endangers others or damages equipment will not be tolerated & may result in ejection from the event.
  4. Hot drinks will be available for purchase at the event, these are to be consumed or put down safely away from the play areas. 
  5. Attendees with health conditions or disabilities that may impact their ability to participate in the events must notify us in advance. We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask attendees to leave if their condition poses a risk to themselves or others.
  6. Photography & recording of events is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from our business.
  7. The business assumes no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by attendees while participating in our events. By attending the event, parents agree to assume all risks and release the business from any liability.

  8. We reserve the right to change these terms of service at any time.

  9. These terms of service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the event is held.

  10.  Attendees/parents/carers agree to these terms of service upon purchasing a ticket or by signing up to any of our services.


Cancellation Policy

Tickets are non-refundable and only transferable to an alternative event at our discretion.

If a ticketed play session is cancelled due to reasons out of our control, the event will be rescheduled to an alternative date & customers will be informed of the new date. If a customer cannot make the new date, they will be offered a voucher code to use for a future event.

If a refund is given to a customer, it will be minus any booking fees.

Session Entitlement, Supervision & Withdrawal of service

Entry Ticket entitles paying individuals to a 75-minute play session (this includes the optional tidy-up time). We cannot accept infants (0-1 years) without a full-paying child ticket.  The times of this session are predefined on our website. You must leave at the end of the session regardless of what time you arrive.

 

You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your session once payment is received.

 

Please do not arrive any sooner than 5 minutes before your session.


Sickness/Infectious Diseases

We cannot offer a refund for a play session missed due to illness, we can however offer you an alternate date (should we recieve more than 24hrs notice).  We have a duty of care to those who attend our play sessions. Therefore Parents/Carers are asked to NOT ATTEND if they or their child have serious symptoms or an infection.  

This may include but is not limited to:

Sickness/Diarrhoea within the last 48 hrs, Fever within the last 24 hrs, Heavy nasal discharge, Conjunctivitis, Weeping eyes, Measles, Chickenpox, German measles, Whooping cough, Impetigo, Scarlett fever, Hand, foot & mouth disease, Norovirus, Covid-19

Photography

You are free to take photos and videos of your own child during our play session, however, please be mindful of other children/adults & their own personal right to privacy.  Please do not take pictures of others without their consent please also be mindful of sharing videos/photos on social media. 

Data Sharing

We share your data with third party companies who help us in processing the data in hosting the website & companies who process payments on our behalf.

 

You can choose whether to opt in or out of communication.  If you opt in, we can tell you about any future offers or events. If you choose not to opt-in, we will announce rebooking schedules on our website and social media platforms.  We will never sell or share your data with others, with the exception of a "full business sale" to another operator/owner seeking to carry on the original play/party business. 

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Simply email us at Bookings@LittleKidTown.com and we will confirm when we have done this. If you wish a copy of all information held, please email the same address. If you believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We retain your information for the minimum period possible for business or legal reasons. For legal reasons, this is often set at a minimum of 6 years. For details of specific data retention periods, please contact us at Bookings@LittleKidTown.com

All companies and GDPR acknowledge that data breaches can (and do) occur. We have processes & controls put in place to minimise the possibility of a breach, but also when there is a breach to minimise the impact and to ensure that those affected are kept informed.

Within your relationship with Little Kid Town you will interact with several Data Controllers. This is not unusual or unique to us and they include the specialist companies that perform certain functions for us such as taking payment and our play session booking system. Personal Possessions/Property

Please note that your belongings are brought to our play sessions at your own risk.  It is your responsibility to ensure their safe keeping. We cannot take any responsibility for the safeguarding of these items.

Health & Safety

Little Kid Town aims to provide & maintain safe, healthy working conditions & environment for all our staff and attendees. Including any other person(s) who are directly affected by our activities, such as members of the public at our events.

A risk assessment will be carried out for each venue. This will include assessing risk as it relates to all aspects of the event including: equipment; venue; staff; attendees. Appropriate precautions will be taken to minimise hazards at all events & activities.

  • We maintain a record of all accidents.
  • We make sure all staff at events and activities are aware of the location of fire exits & refuge points.
  • We follow the fire evacuation procedure set out by the venue.  
  • We will have a record/list of attendees for each session. 

We hold Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5,000,000
